Profil du candidat
The candidate must have a strong interest and good aptitudes for scientific research based on:
– Master in Geography or environmental science background with expertise in remote sensing (satellite images).
– High degree of autonomy in work and openness to other disciplines such as hydrology, ecology and image processing.
– adaptability and appeal for teamwork
– a particular interest in scientific cooperation with southern countries
– an ability to communicate and work in multidisciplinary teams
– a good command of the English language for scientific publication (skills in Portuguese language is an asset)
– skills in spatial information geoprocessing (satellite images, GIS, etc.) and programming (Python, R, GEE).
