Our mission at Sencrop is to make precision agriculture technology more accessible for more precise, efficient, and environmentally-friendly farming. With this ultra-local and reliable data, Sencrop makes it easy to decide the course of action that should be taken in any weather event & make the best farming choices at the right time: crop protection/sowing/irrigation, etc.

Sencrop is supported by the key players in the agricultural industry and is experiencing rapid growth. Today we are over 50 employees working for nearly 10.000 clients with sensors in more than 14 countries.

We are growing and hiring a Product Owner to join our tech team (1 Product Owner, 1 UX designer – 7 developers – 3 data engineers).

Your mission, if you choose to accept it :

• You write clear & concise user stories
• You follow & help sprint progress (specs, testing)
• You participate in agile rituals
• You test and validate developments
• You take leadership on internal tools (sales, support, quality, hardware…) specifications & developments
• You work on the product roadmap and priorities with the product team
• You contribute to the product vision

Are you the ideal candidate? 

• You have a previous experience in product management (PM) or a tech background (developer/project manager) interested by the product in the real world: You have a good knowledge of agile environment (sprints, backlog, rituals…)

• You can communicate in english
• An experience with a SaaS company is a plus.

CDI Tech Lead (H/F)

More than 10.000 farmers are using our connected ag-weather stations to receive real-time data and forecasts for temperature, humidity, wind speed, and rainfall in their fields.

We are growing and hiring a Tech-Lead to level-up our Software Engineering team! Come and be part of a high energy team working in a continuous delivery, developer driven agile delivery environment.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it 

• Code and deliver features with the team, maintain usable and functionally rich web applications (cross-browser, cross-devices)
• Drive the adoption and improvement of development practices:
• TDD, Behavior Driven testing
• Domain Driven Design
• Software craftsmanship
• Do a lot of pair coding with all developers, front and back
• Work closely with product owner, be a steward of the proper definition of user-stories (business oriented, small enough, priority to value, ship often…)
• Participate in Agile rituals (and improve them !)
• Participate in Architecture work and decision

Are you the ideal candidate? 

• You have 5-7 years of software development experience
• You are a software craftsman, and have a solid commitment to code quality, all sorts of automated testing, and continuous refactoring
• You are enthusiastic about Agile approaches and collaboration techniques
• You like to pair-code to solve concrete problems
• You like to mentor and lead by example
• You have a proven experience in development of web applications: front, back and API
• You are fluent in modern js (es6+), and familiar in React/redux or similar
• You are experienced with Node.js, and with at least another backend language (eg. java)
• You are aware of the modern evolutions of web and mobile technologies

CDI – Site Reliability Engineer (H/F)

Our Software Engineering team is growing and we’re hiring a SRE Engineer to level-up our operations!

Your mission, if you choose to accept it

• Design and improve our monitoring tools & capabilities,
• Improve automation in system operations, infrastructure changes, software deployments
• Work with the team to define, measure, and reach availability objectives
• Design and improve incident tools and processes (alerting, escalation, resolution, postmortems…)
• Work with architects to address questions around reliability, resilience, scalability

Are you the ideal candidate?

• You love the SRE book from Google and DevOps culture
• You are experienced with cloud environments (ideally AWS)
• You are experienced with infrastructure-as-code tools (ideally terraform)
• You are experienced with git, software factories, and continuous delivery
• You are fluent in shell scripting (and ideally other scripting languages too)
• You have the communication and interpersonal skills to work on post-incident reviews, analyses of human and process failures, in order to learn and improve the way we work

CDI Data Engineer (H/F)

Your mission, if you choose to accept it
Develop and evolve our dataflows from data acquisition (from our sensors and other providers), to processing and querying
Analyse the query patterns, and the impact on our systems
Deploy the right tools to improve accessibility to data from other teams (hardware, analytics) and partners
Work on scalability, data consistency, system resilience, flow monitoring
Conduct POCs to choose tools and technologies for the future of our platform
Work on geographical data

Are you the ideal candidate?
You love working with data, small or big
You are experienced with several databases, caches, indexing technologies 
You are experienced with streaming technologies (kinesis, kafka, flink…)
You are aware about distributed storage constraints (consistency, latency, …)
You are comfortable with java or similar language
Ideally you know some GIS software.
