Dear colleagues,

Montpellier, France, organizes this year the EFITA Congress. EFITA is the European conference dedicated to the future use of ICT in the agri-food sector, bioresource and biomass sector. It was launched and is supported by the European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture, Food and the Environment (EFITA). EFITA happens every two year, and EFITA 2017 is the 11^th edition. 150 participants are expected from around 30 countries.

Many initiatives such as invited workshops and sessions and internal meetings come together within EFITA conference to make Montpellier the place to go in July when it comes to ICT for agri-food, bioresource and biomass sectors. A Hackathon will happen the week-end before and a technical tour will conclude the conference. The schedule is organised to make the conference attractive to research teams and to companies.

The on-line demonstration submission is open until April, 18^th on www.efita2017.org/submit . A new service, software, technology developed or under development? Submit your demonstration and present it during 2017 EFITA Congress. The accepted demonstrations will be presented in plenary. Also, if you wish and if your demonstration is accepted, you could book a stand on Wednesday afternoon (July, 5^th ) and benefit from communication via a press release. Call is for researchers and companies. The acceptance of a demonstration will be decided based on a specific form that includes an abstract of the demonstration.
